8 Days 7 Nights Meghalaya Tour
Day 1: Arrival and Wards Lake
Depart from Guwahati Airport at 11 am for Cherrapunjee, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. Stop for brunch in Guwahati and enjoy a traditional Pork thali. In the early evening, take a halt at Wards Lake in Shillong for hot momos and tea while enjoying the sight of Cherry Blossoms in full bloom. Arrive at your hotel in Cherrapunjee by 6 pm.
Day 2: Double-Decker Root Bridge Trek
Start the trek to the Double-Decker Root Bridge in Nongriat, Tyrna. The bridge is over 150 years old and the trek involves descending 2,400 feet with 3,500 stairs. You have the option to stay at a homestay in Nongriat village. After the trek, visit the Natural Swimming Pool with a guide, where you enjoy a swim in cold water. Complete the trek by 4 pm and spend the evening watching the sunset on your way back to the hotel.
Day 3: Sightseeing in Cherrapunjee

Day 6: Laitlum Canyons and Wards Lake
Visit Laitlum Canyons for breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Later, return to Wards Lake to enjoy its beauty, and spend the evening shopping for souvenirs at Police Bazar.
