Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Cherrapunji Sightseeing
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport, our representative will receive you and drive to Meghalaya. Begin your adventure with a visit to Laitlum Canyon, known for its panoramic views. Continue to the Garden of Caves before heading to Cherrapunji, where you will check in to your stay for the night.
Day 2: Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Nongriat Trek
After breakfast, visit Mawsmai Cave, a limestone wonder, followed by Nohkalikai Waterfalls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India. After lunch, proceed to Tyrna and start the trek to Nongriat, home to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Overnight stay in Nongriat.
Day 3: Double Decker Living Root Bridge and Rainbow Waterfalls
Start the day with a visit to the iconic Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a marvel of bioengineering. After breakfast, trek to Rainbow Waterfalls, known for its clear blue waters. Spend the day soaking in nature’s beauty before returning to Nongriat for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Trek Back to Tyrna and Riverside Camping
Trek back to Tyrna and continue the journey towards Dawki. Enjoy the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River, perfect for photography and relaxation. End the day with a unique riverside camping experience under the stars.
Day 5: Mawryngkhang Trek and Departure
After breakfast, embark on the Mawryngkhang Trek, a thrilling bamboo trail adventure through rugged cliffs. Post trek, drive back to Guwahati for departure, marking the end of an unforgettable Meghalaya experience.
