DAY 01: ARRIVE AT KOLKATA-MAYAPUR(117 KM)(2.40) HRS)(B/D)
Kolkata Upon Arrival At The Kolkata Airport, Meet Our Tour Representative Followed By Assisted Transfer To The Hotel.After some rest, visit famous Mayapur temple ,It is a popular pilgrim center for Vaishnavites (worshippers of Lord Vishnu) as it is believed that an avatar of Lord Krishna (an incarnation of Lord Vishnu), Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was born in the city in 1486 AD. The day starts very early with a classic activity of Varanasi boat ride on Ganges . You can watch the rituals conducted by people. Take breakfast in the Hotel and drive to Prayagraj to see the Sangam (Meeting point) of the three rivers - Ganga, Yamuna & Saraswati. Here the Maha Kumbh Mela is held every 12 years which is a major Hindu festival.Sangam - Around 7 km from Civil Lines, overlooked by the eastern ramparts of the fort, wide floodplains and muddy banks protrude towards the sacred Sangam.
