Day 02: GOA Sightseeing Dudhsagar Falls (B/D)
Post breakfast, proceed to a full-day guided adventure to Mollem National Park, a pristine sanctuary located in the Western Ghats of Goa, India. Spread across approximately 240 square kilometers, this biodiverse reserve is renowned for its rich flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species. The park is home to a variety of wildlife, such as Bengal tigers, leopards, Indian bison, sambar deer, and various species of birds and reptiles. Discover the natural wonders of Goa with an unforgettable journey to Dudhsagar Falls will immerse yourself in the thrill of this natural wonderland. While the big cats of the park—tigers, panthers, and leopards—are rare, you're in with a good chance of seeing a plethora of birdlife, such as the golden oriole and great Indian hornbill, as well as monkeys and deer.Your final destination is Keri, a remote village known for its spice crop fields. Day 03: The UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Old Goa (B/D).
After breakfast from the hotel proceed for a full day exploration of Goa. Old Goa, also known as Velha Goa, is home to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, showcasing the region's rich history and cultural heritage. Basilica of Bom Jesus, located in Old Goa, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most famous landmarks in Goa. This historic church, built in the late 16th century, is renowned for housing the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier, a prominent Christian missionary and co-founder of the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). The visitors to the Basilica of Bom Jesus can marvel at its exquisite architecture, which features intricate carvings, elaborate altars, and beautiful frescoes depicting scenes from the life of St. Francis Xavier. The main altar, adorned with gilded artwork and statues, is a sight to behold. One of the main attractions of the basilica is the preserved body of St. Francis Xavier, which is displayed in a silver casket. The next is Se Cathedral, dedicated to St. Catherine of Alexandria, the Se Cathedral is one of the largest churches in Asia and a masterpiece of Portuguese-Gothic architecture. Constructed in the 16th century, the cathedral is famous for its bell known as the "Golden Bell" and its stunning altars. Another sight is Church of Our Lady of the Mount (Monte Church): Perched atop Monte Hill, this 16th-century church offers panoramic views of Old Goa and the surrounding landscape. The Church of Our Lady of the Mount is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is a popular pilgrimage site. Afternoon proceed to Dona Paula, a picturesque area located in the suburbs of Panaji, the capital city of Goa. It is renowned for its stunning viewpoints, serene beaches, and romantic ambiance. One of the main attractions in Dona Paula is the viewpoint overlooking the Arabian Sea. From here, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the coastline, including the Mormugao Harbor and the confluence of the Mandovi and Zuari rivers. While Dona Paula Beach itself is not ideal for swimming due to strong currents, it offers a tranquil setting for leisurely strolls along the shoreline. The beach is known for its golden sands, palm-fringed surroundings, and vibrant sunset views. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04: GOA Sightseeing and Water sports (B/D)
Post breakfast the third day sightseeing begins with Palolem Beach in south Goa. It is a pristine and picturesque stretch of coastline. Palolem Beach is renowned for its soft, white sands that stretch along the shoreline, creating a postcard-perfect setting for relaxation and leisure activities. Surrounded by palm trees and lush greenery, Palolem Beach offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. The serene atmosphere and tranquil waters make it an ideal spot for unwinding and soaking in the natural beauty. Swimming and Water Sports: The calm and shallow waters of Palolem Beach are perfect for swimming. Additionally, visitors can enjoy various water sports activities such as kayaking, paddleboarding, and boat rides offered by local operators. Dolphin Spotting: Palolem Beach is known for its dolphin-watching tours, where visitors can embark on boat excursions to spot playful dolphins frolicking in the sea. May visit Miramar Beach, Panaji Markets etc. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 05: GOA Divar Island Excursion (B/D)
Post breakfast continues with the Goa sightseeing. Divar Island is a serene and picturesque island located in the Mandovi River in Goa. It offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding river and lush greenery. The island's tranquil atmosphere and natural beauty make it a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of mainland Goa. Nature Trails and Birdwatching: Nature enthusiasts can explore the island's lush landscapes and scenic trails, which offer opportunities for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. Divar Island is home to diverse flora and fauna, making it a paradise for nature lovers. Boat Rides and Ferry Crossings: To reach Divar Island, visitors can take a short ferry ride from Ribandar or Old Goa. The ferry crossings offer scenic views of the river and are an integral part of the island experience. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06: GOA Airport departure (B)
Take breakfast from the hotel and spend time at leisure until scheduled transfer to the airport to board the flight.
